Green Rocket Gallery
Finnish games developer Tactic wanted a high-impact Google Ad to promote their new multi-player, trivia board game iKNOW, across Europe. Shot in English, the advert had to resonate across a broad range of nationalities, with versions dubbed in French and Polish, and subtitled in Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish. We produced several initial concepts, and the chosen script was storyboarded and audience-trialled in animatic form prior to production. Tactic didn't want to major on scenes of gameplay, so the ad was based around the idea of the game becoming addictive. It needed a realistic, gritty feel, so we decided to shoot on location and gave the finished programme a heavy colour grade to emphasise the ‘grit’.
Silveroaks Wood (by drone)
Actually a series of drone trial flights, testing drone piloting and the Hero 4 camera. These are the woods by our office, so hardly a major expedition, but a good test of the drone and of the camera. DISCLAIMER: Web compression might make a mess of parts of this - the thousands of tiny, low-contrast branches are tricky!
The Archaeology of Ashdown Forest
Our first film for Ashdown Forest is an overview of the unique archaeology of this beautiful and historic area of East Sussex. Concept and production coordination was by Paul Cooper of Forest Marketing. This is one of a series of three films produced for the Friends of Ashdown Forest.
Eva & Izzy - The Children's Respite Truct
A programme produced for The Children's Respite Trust, initially for a major fundraising campaign, but subsequently for web use. The Children's Respite Trust is a charity that improves the lives of children with profound learning and physical disabilities by helping them to get a short break throughout Sussex, Kent and parts of Surrey and London. Just a little support can go a long way to helping a family to cope with the strain. You can find out more about their vital work at www.childrensrespitetrust.org.uk.
